Farmland electronic limited warranty

The following describes Farmland's standard limited warranty. Warranty coverage may vary by jurisdiction.

Warranty coverage

Farmland's limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship of new Farmland products, generally for one year from the date of purchase. The exceptions are as follows. Only consumers who purchase Farmland products from authorized Farmland retailers or resellers and install them by professional maritime technicians can obtain the insurance within the limited warranty of Farmland. Accessories with a manufacturing date greater than 10 years are not covered by Farmland's warranty, even if the purchase date is within the last 1 year. Purchase from an unauthorized reseller, which may include some online entities, may not guarantee that the buyer will receive the newly manufactured parts and therefore the warranty coverage.

Defects liability period

Farmland's warranty period begins on the recorded date of purchase, depending on the product type and place of purchase. The warranty period shall apply for the following periods depending on the type of product purchased:

Warranty resolution

If Farmland authorizes the return of the product to Farmland or an authorized service provider, Farmland will repair the product or replace the equivalent replacement product free of charge. Farmland will pay to provide you with replacement products. By sending the product for replacement, ownership of the original product will be transferred to Farmland. This warranty does not include labor costs. Farmland warrants that the repaired or replaced product shall be within the remaining period of the original product warranty period or the Farmland warranty period of 90 days, whichever is greater.

Not covered by warranty

Farmland' warranty does not cover any problem caused by (a) accident, abuse, negligence or exposure to electric shock, electrostatic discharge, heat or humidity beyond product specifications, improper installation, improper operation, maintenance or modification, or (b) any misuse in violation of the instructions in the installation table, or (c) loss, or (d) failure of other equipment. Farmland's warranty is void if the label has been removed, damaged or tampered with when the product is returned, or any other changes have been made to the product, including the removal of any components or covers. Farmland's warranty does not include labor costs or any direct, indirect or incidental damages. Under farmland's limited warranty, costs associated with recovery, removal or installation are not recoverable.
